Dr. M H Kori, Governing Council Member, Inaugurated the FDP and he delivered opening talk. Dr. Y V S Lakshmi was the guest of honor and she took one session during FDP Program.

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) - SaIT & Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Association with Student Chapters of SaIT IETE, IEEE, ISTE & EWB conducted an “Intra-collegiate Innovative Idea Contest-2022. Prof. S Sowndeswary was the program coordinator. Dr. C V Ravishankar presided over the event.
A Team composed of IETE Honorary members went to Bharat Electronics Corporate Office to meet BEL CMD Shri Bhanu Prakah Srivastava. The team from IETE consisted of Dr. C P Dwivedi, Chairman, IETE Bangalore, Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav, Honorary Secretary, Prof. Bhatia, Former GC Member and Past Chairman, IETE Bangalore Centre, Mr. G Ramesh, Former GC Member and Past Chairman, IETE Bangalore Centre Dr. Gunashekhar Reddy (IETE President), Vice President and mentor Dr. Basavaraj Gadgay, Vice President Dr. K Jayashankar,and Shri Sunil, Honorary Treasurer, IETE HQ The meeting was regarding the conduction of IICI 2023 in collaboration with BEL. Other Senior Representatives of BEL also were part of the meeting.
A course on Unnamed Systems: Aerial, Ground and Underwater Vehicle and Challenges Course" was conducted for BEL.
Dr. S Mohan Kumar, Executive Committee member inaugurated ISF at R R Institute of technology as a Chief Guest. Dr. V Ilango was the Guest of Honor and he delivered a technical talk on Computational Thinking. Dr. Chinamaya Das was the ISF coordinator, he delivered vote of thanks.
This Guest Lecture is organized with an objective to provide insights as how to start writing research paper. The Guest lecture was held on 16th Nov 2022 at 10.00am in Seminar Hall, Ground Floor, New Building, KSIT. Dr. Surekha Borra, Professor, Dept. of ECE & Chief Research Coordinator, KSIT, Bangalore, started the event by welcoming the Guest Speaker Dr. Nilanjan Dey, Dignitaries and faculty Participants and briefed the importance of organizing the Guest Talk on “Addressing challenges in Research Publications”. Dr. PN Sudha, HoD, ECE Department welcomed the Guest speaker with a flower Bouquet. Dr. Surekha Borra introduced the speaker to the August gathering.

Mr. I Thirunavakarasu, Associate professor, Senior Scale, Manipal Institute of technology, Manipal was the chief guest and key note speaker.

The 69th ETE foundation day was celebrated at IETE Bangalore on Sunday,20th Nov 2022. Dr. C P Dwivedi, Chairman, IETE Bangalore welcomed the gathering, he welcomed IETE President, Dr. (Prof.) V Gunasekhar Raddy, Chief Guest, Dr. Venugopal K R, Former Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore University, Past President, Governing Council Member, Senior IETE Fellow Members and Guests & students who were present in large number. Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav, Hon. Secretary, IETE Bangalore introduced the chief guest and invited him for a technical theme lecture. Dr. Venugopal K R delivered a lecture on “NEP 2022: A Paradigm Shift in Skill Based Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities”. Sri. C Satyanandan, Past Chairman had some discussion on the subject, which was clarified by Dr. Venugopal. Dr. C P Dwivedi then introduced the MoU signed between IETE Bangalore and CMR University. He spoke its benefits and then MoU was exchanged between the parties. Dr. Gunasekhar Reddy, President IETE was the witness of the same and he signed also. Former Chairpersons of the Centre felicitated senior members, Prof. C Murali and Sri. Gerge Cleetus. Bothe members shared their experiences and delivered the motivation talks to encourage the today’s generations. Dr. Gunasekhar Reddy, President IETE presided over the function. He thanked all the corporate members in general and council members in person for their support to elect him as Governing Council Members consecutive three terms and then as IETE President for the year 2022-23. He blessed the IETE Bangalore Centre and promised to support in all the aspect for growth of the Centre.

A technical talk delivered by Dr. C V Ravishankar, Vice-Chairman, IETE Bangalore at RRIT Bangalore on ‘Career guidance after UG and information about PG (MS. M. Tech, GRE, TOEFL, GATE, JRF)’.
A course IIOT for 7 weeks were started by Sri. Vinay Avanchi, Sri. K S Ravi, Jt Secretary inaugurated the course.
The Institute of Chartered Accountant Indian (ICAI) Examinations were conducted. Dr. C P Dwivedi, Prof. H S Bhatia, Sri. C Satyandan, Prof. C Murali, Sri. K S Ravi and Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav were Superintendent of Examinations (SoE) and Mr. Dinesh was the Chief Invigilator. The examinations were conducted during 01-17 Nov 2022. A total 3468 students were allocated to Centre.
A course on Fundamentals of XR and Its Applications was conducted for BEL Executives. Mr. Suresh P, PTC Inc. was the course faculty, suggested by Sri. C Satyanandan, Immediate Past Chairman.
A Cambridge English course was conducted for LRDE executives. All faculties were drawn from Cambridge University.
A technical talk delivered by Prof. C Murali, DF and Former Vice President, IETE New Delhi at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering on ‘Future Technologies by 2030’ and motivated them. Prof. H S Bhatia, Former Chairman, IETE Bangalore addressed the students and explained the benefits of ISF and Corporate membership. He mentioned that there is a 25% discount and all the categories of memberships up 31st Dec 2022.

IETE Bangalore organised a ISF CONGRESS on Saturday, 17th Sept 2022. The program started with invocation song, sung by Ms. Prathibha H V, Dr. C V Ravishankar, Program Convener & Vice-Chairman, IETE Bangalore welcomed the gathering, assembled in Deltion Auditorium. He called dignities on the dais and requested them to inaugurate the ISF Congress with lighting the lamp.
IETE Bangalore conducted a one month Internship for Engineering Students on Embedded Systems and IoT Applications, Inaugrated by Sri. C Satyanandan, Immeidate Past Chairman, IETE Bangalore. 90 students joined the internship from variious academic instittutions/Engineering colleges from Bangalore, Kolar, Hospate and many other places. We drawn the resource persons from C-DAC, C-DoT and academic institutions. Students comleted their hands on practical training at IoT lab with the support of Embedded Kit.
75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava was celebrated during Independence Day. Prof. N C Shivapraksh (Retd.), IISc was the Chief Guest and he did Flag Hoisting. A large number of members attended the program. Sweets were distributed on this occation.

Captain T N Pranesh I N (Retd.), Alpha Design Technologies was the chief guest and he delivered the memorial lecture on ‘New Trends in Radar Technology’. Shri C Sathyanandan, Chairman of IETE Bengaluru Presided over the function. Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav welcomed the gathering. Sri. Ranjeet Kumar Hon. Treasurer proposed the vote of thanks.
